SEL Week is an initiative developed within the framework of the international commemoration of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), celebrated worldwide during the month of March, with the purpose of highlighting the importance of socioemotional development and its impact on well-being, coexistence, and lifelong learning.
Globally, organizations such as CASEL promote this commemoration as an opportunity for educational communities, families, and organizations to recognize the value of social and emotional learning and, especially, to experience and put into practice socioemotional competencies in everyday contexts.
At Alianza Educativa, SEL Week emerges as an opportunity to intentionally and collectively put socioemotional competencies into practice, fostering their experience in different spaces and promoting a common language around emotions, relationships, and care.
