Los Nogales School

Los Nogales School seeks to provide a holistic education that shapes exemplary citizens, committed to Colombia and leaders in serving a changing, global, and pluralistic society. This holistic approach is developed through explicit programs that address five dimensions: socio-emotional, intellectual, spiritual, physical, and aesthetic. The Nogalista student is part of a supportive, united community committed to shared ideals. Education is provided with respect and tolerance for opinions, ideas, beliefs, races, nationalities, sexual orientations, and other differences that exist among human beings. At Los Nogales, academic development is very important, alongside values-based education such as honesty, respect, and responsibility. Beyond what is learned in class, Los Nogales believes that through knowledge students develop an inquisitive, critical, and creative intellect. In this way, the School—always connecting with the reality its students experience—offers a balanced curriculum between the classical and the innovative; the Colombian and the international; the sciences and the arts.

San Carlos School

San Carlos School is a boys’ school that operates under the auspices of the Benedictine Monastery of Tibatí. It strives to build a community of students, teachers, parents, administrators, and leaders, founded on the dignity and freedom of each person and on the moral and religious values of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The School seeks to admit students and recruit teachers based on their abilities and personal effort, because it believes that the presence of people with diverse temperaments, social and economic backgrounds, and different experiences promotes mutual understanding. The study programs are designed to form well-rounded individuals with a vision of Christian charity and justice, and to foster the human and humanistic development of citizens who can, now and in the future to an even greater degree, responsibly assume and exercise leadership with creativity, diligence, and fidelity.

Universidad de los Andes

Universidad de los Andes is an autonomous, independent, and innovative institution that fosters pluralism, tolerance, and respect for ideas; it pursues academic excellence and provides its students with a critical and ethical education to strengthen their awareness of their social and civic responsibilities, as well as their commitment to their environment. Gimnasio La Montaña

Gimnasio La Montaña seeks to offer civic education with an emphasis on cultural identity and global thinking. The academic programs at Gimnasio La Montaña promote the development of the competencies needed to responsibly and effectively meet ethical, social, cultural and scientific, political, and economic demands. To this end, we work from a pedagogical perspective that enables students to access humanity’s cultural heritage and scientific-technological knowledge sensitively and critically, and that motivates them to creatively take on the challenge of building knowledge. Our team is determined to align this curriculum with the competencies, skills, and attitudes characteristic of the 21st century.
